5-Year Strategic Plan Summary

PAVED will begin PAVING FORWARD Strategic Economic Initiative.
The measuring of success for the “PAVING the WAY” program is a five year plan with five goals.

1) Secure and retain 1,000 direct jobs (indirect over 650) 1,650 total.
2) Generate a payroll of $43.75 Million through business retention, expansion and attraction programs.
3) Provide economic "gardening" opportunities for at least ten new companies with focus on high tech/aviation businesses.
4) Increase the population of Pahrump to 44,000.
5) Become nationally recognized as one of the top 5 communities having the best quality of life in USA.

These goals will be accomplished by focusing on four strategies simultaneously.
STRATEGY ONE; Business Retention and Workforce Development.
STRATEGY TWO; Entrepreneurs/Economic Gardening.
STRATEGY THREE; New Business Attraction.
STRATEGY FOUR; Marketing and Investor Relations.
